Chords vs. Notes on Circle Surface

Postby sj1 » Tue Oct 10, 2017 3:16 pm

Hi,

I don't know if others experience this too, but I'm finding that when I attempt to play the "circle surface" I do not have the pinpoint accuracy necessary to reliably get chords when I want chords and single notes when I want single notes (on the iPad).

Basically, given my "fat fingers" and imperfect technique, the circles are too small and too close together for accuracy.

I would really like to be able to explore the musical implications of the layout, but unless I can reliably get get chords when I want chords and single notes when I want single notes all my efforts are moot.

I wonder if it might be possible in the future to implement some kind of density selection or zoom that would trade off number of available notes (buttons) in favor of more space between them?

Just a thought ...

In the meantime, I'm making great use of the chord pads!

Thanks. I planning to improve the ease of use for grid notes, there are ways of doing it without changing zoom.
